Shakespeare Holy Ground
Amongst a few other Shakespeare-related houses, we visited his Birthplace. Being the American Revolution nut that I am, I was thrilled to see that Adams and Jefferson had visited in (I think) 1786. I guess it's something I should have expecting, especially knowing Adams, but I didn't really think on it. I definitely had a moment while standing in a building that so many important people, especially Shakespeare, have been in.
But first... more ducks! The one on the left actually reminds me of when my African Grey was a baby. He used to lie flat on his stomach, looking an awful lot like a pancake! I think the duck looked flatter in person though...
Ok, I'm an idiot and only took pix of the back...
I must say... all the doors in these houses were perfect for my height... ::smirks:: Sort of like the ones in Pompeii... lol
