Les Misérables (Bdwy)

Yes, folks, you read those dates correctly!  I saw Les Miz in London the night before we left... and then I saw it in NYC the night I got in!  It seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...  And I do believe I shocked most of the Bdwy LM cast when I told them... ;-)  I was very thrilled to finally get to see Diana Kaarina as Eponine after chatting with her a few times on AIM; she was much better than the girl I saw in London.  I was also thrilled to see Joseph Mahowald as Javert, since I totally loved him in Jekyll & Hyde (pix of him in that coming soon; unfortunately, I forgot to get his pic this time).  And kudos to Ron Sharpe for playing an excellent Valjean, especially for an u/s!  He was also very, very sweet at the stage door and spent a lot of time talking to me and another guy...

I'm sure I already have pix of this somewhere, but I thought it was a nice contrast to London...

Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!  WOHOO!!!!  It's Diana!!!!  Seriously really sweet person, and I'm SO glad I finally got to meet her in person!  Didn't have anyone to take the pic for me though, so it's just her... which is fine, because I looked even more like hell that day after just getting off the plane and being up for so long...

::gulps:: As I said...  I'm surprised I didn't break the camera...  Anyway, that's me with Ron Sharpe...  Fortunately, the other guy who was talking to Ron was nice enough to take the pic for me... or maybe unfortunately... lol
